ConstructionThe system consists basically the Heavy duty Machine Structure, Servo controlled and powered automatically adjusting Fixtures for holding the Tubes in position, Servo Motor powered & controlled Pressing Load joined with a Load Cell for monitoring the Force exerted on the tube. The servo system also measures the Deflection of the Tube, during pressing. The total testing system as well as the machine operation and sequence is controlled by a Mitsubishi PLC controller. The operating system is with a large size Industrial PC having Touch Screen Display. All the Test results with Graphs are recorded as real time graphs. To check the variations in Tube Quality there is provision of conducting the tests on 6 tubes, one by one, and recording the results and graphs. Finally all the 6 graphs can be superimposed to check the variations.
