Pvc Suspension Resin

Reon 67-01 is a medium molecular weight suspension type PVC resin suitable for rigid extrusion products. It is specially recommendedfor rigid pipes & conduits, rigid profiles, rigid sheets, unplasticised tubular film etc. Its combination of medium molecular weight with highapparent bulk density makes it suitable for easy processing at high output rate, still maintaining the high mechanical properties. Itsbalanced heat loss property does not allow static to develop and reduces the flow time. At the same time the resin contains minimumvolatiles. The narrow range of porosity of Reon 67-01 makes it easy to maintain a uniform fusion point at constant lubricant level. Uniformcoarseness of the grains of this resin results in easy bulk handling, minimum requirement of lubricant and more uniform fluxing in theextruder.

This grade meets the MFI, Density & Hydrostatic strength requirements of material grade PE-100 as perIS: 4984. When incorporated with adequate quantity of carbon black as specified in clause 5.2.3 of IS: 4984, pipes will meetPE:100 requirements.Pipes made from Relene 46GP003 grade passes the Internal Pressure Creep Rupture Test when tested with 5.5 MPa induced stress ato o80 C for 165 hrs and with 5.7 MPa induced stress at 80 C for 48 hrs as per clause 8.1 of IS 4984, thereby meeting the requirements ofPE100 grade.The grade conforms to ISO 4427 specification shown and has been certified for MRS> 10MPa as per ISO 9080

67-11 is a medium molecular weight suspension type PVC resin suitable for manufacturing plasticised extruded as well as mouldedproducts. It is specially recommended for insulation sheathing of wires and cables, calendering, flexible films, other flexible extrudedproducts, injection moulding, etc. The low RVCM level in the resin makes it ideal for medical and food contact applications. Itscombination of medium molecular weight with high porosity leads to low powder mix time with good plasticiser absorption, resulting ineasy processability. 67-11 is therefore suitable for processing of flexible products with good mechanical properties and high output rate.
