| The main housing of Pinch roll is made from Cast iron, and fitted with EN - 9 rolls with spherical roller bearing housed in steel chocks. The tap roll setting device consists of screw down screw of EN - 8 with gun metal nut. The top roll is also spring loaded with helical spring for balancing. |
| Gear box: The main body is fabricated from M.S.plate. The gears of EN-9 steel fitted on two shaft of EN-8 steel run on antifriction bearings. The gears and the bearings run in oil bath and provide adequate lubrication at all times. |
| Spindle: The pinch roll and the gear box are coupled with two nos. Universal type spindle. |
| Motor: The motor is coupled to one of the shaft by vee-belts. |
| Base: The whole equipment is mounted on one common base plate fabricated from steel. |
