These continuous centrifugal filters operate on the same principle as drum centrifuges, utilizing centrifugal force to separate solids from liquids. However, instead of a solid wall, the centrifuge is equipped with a filter media wall that allows the filtrate (liquid) to pass through while retaining the solids on the surface. The retained solids can be effectively washed in place and are continuously removed by an unloader knife, which scrapes them off and discharges them from the bottom of the machine. This continuous process ensures efficient separation, consistent throughput, and reduced downtime—making it ideal for high-volume filtration needs in chemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial processing applications.
