Rubber Bellow Seal

The rubber bellow mechanical seal has been designed for general sealing purpose which includes easy installation of the seal. The Seal has a unique rubber bellow secondary seal, which provides a high degree of axial flexibility to compensate for lack of concentricity of the shaft & misalignment & wear due to thrust movement of the shaft. The seal can be use regardless of direction of rotation since the driving torque is not transmitted through the coil spring, The required driving torque is enhanced through the unique rubber bellow which fits on the shaft through the interference fit between the collar, rubber bellow & the shaft.

Teflon Bellow Seal

Teflon Bellow seals are designed for handling acids. It is unrivalled in its ability to withstand corrosive fluids and is highly resistant to oxidising and reducing agents. That's because it is made out of chemically inert materials like PTFE, GFT, Ceramic, Carbon, Silicon Carbide, Hastelloy 'C' which come in contact with the acids during the operation and perform reliably under all, even extreme corrosive conditions.
The hydraulically balanced and flexible bellow accomodates shaft run-out and seal hang-up. These seals are also compactly designed for easy installation and virtually nil maintenance. The multiple springs with bellow provide uniform pressure all over the seal face to ensure effective sealing.

Metal bellow mechanical seals are inherently balanced and are independent of direction of rotation. The unique feature of this type of seal is that, there is no dynamic 'O' rings and therefore it will never hang up or damage the shaft and sleeve, it also has an ability to handle corrosive as well as abrasive & viscous media. Double Mechanical Seal

A double mechanical seal is a combination of two seals mounted back to back or a single retainer having both sides sealing faces or tandem type. These seals can be single-coiled or multi spring and can have a combination of unbalanced/unbalanced, unbalanced/balanced and balanced/balanced type seals. These seals are ideal for handling toxic /abrasive media. To cool the sealing faces during operation a clean compatible liquid is circulated between the two seals at a pressure higher (by one bar ) than the process fluid. The inner seal prevents the barrier fluid from entering the system while the outer seal prevents it from leaking into the atmosphere.The circulation of barrier fluid is done with the help of Thermosyphon or Forced circulation pump.
