Magnetic Separator is a machine in which magnetically susceptible material is extracted from a mixture using a magnetic force. This separation technique can be useful in mining iron as it is attracted to a magnet. Magnetic separators that used permanent magnets could generate fields of low intensity only. These machines were capable of treating 10 tons of ore a day.
There are two types of pulley / Drum systems are available : - Permanent Magnetic Pulley / Drum
- Electromagnetic Pulley / Drum
Specifications : - Magnetic Rolls are available in 65, 75 & 100 mm dia and widths upto1200mm
- The Roll is driven by a 0.5 HP, variable speed DC/AC geared Motor drive adjustable from 0 to 100 RPM
- For the purpose of Feeding, Vibratory Feeder with Control is provided
- The Machine is provided with abrasion resistant endless conveyor Belts of 0.8mm thickness
