This machines is ideal for forming TDCT Fittings and Wrap Duct
The Iowa Precision Folding machine is a motorized Bending Machines with PLC control used in bending the duct blanks having TDC flanges made on it. Simple dial and pointer bend angle setting. The Folding machine has a slotted bed and solid top forming beam. It is designed to form an L-section or Wrap (one-piece) TDC duct. The TDC Notch Locator positions the duct in the proper bending location for forming. This allows one-person operation. The machines is also designed to form various length fittings with a TDC Flange and Pittsburgh or Snap Lock seams.
We recommend the Folding machine be ordered with the optional precision Back Gauge. This back gauge has a digital readout and allows you to preset the bend dimension. This also allows production bending jobs to be run with consistent piece to piece dimensional accuracy
