Resobond is a no-bake phenolic resin used in CI, SG and Ni-Hard casting foundries. It is ideal for reclaimed sand because of low Nitrogen (N) content. Reclamation is around 70%.
Coldbond is a polyurethane resin used in both ferrous and non-ferrous casting foundries. It is a three part system, where cores are dimensionally very accurate and has low gas evolution. This is used for mass production of cores.
Furobond is a furan no-bake resin used in CI, SG casting foundries. The resin has an excellent thermal collapsibility and maximises reclamation cycle/sand reusability, around 90%.
Our water-based zircon coatings are formulated with high solid content and advanced binders, giving them excellent suspension, rapid drying, and strong abrasion resistance. They provide reliable protection against metal penetration and sand expansion, ensuring smooth and defect-free castings. The newly – designed binder and suspension system gives this coating material best application properties.
ZirconGraphite coatings with an aqueous carrier are formulated with high solid content and are particularly suited for brushing applications. These coatings provide strong resistance to metal penetration and mouldmetal reactions, delivering a smooth and defect-free surface finish, even on heavy iron castings.
Water-based graphite coatings combine excellent suspension stability with strong cooling and peel-off properties. They reduce sand burn-on and metal penetration in cast iron, ensuring smooth, clean, and defect-free castings.
Water-based alumino-silicate coatings, enriched with iron oxides, offer high thermal resistance and low reactivity to metal oxides. They provide excellent anti-veining properties, good gas permeability, and ensure clean, smooth surface finishes in castings.
Zircon coatings are spirit-based, high-performance coatings designed to protect moulds and cores while improving casting quality. They provide smooth application, strong suspension stability, and excellent surface finish across different binder systems such as CO and resin-bonded moulds. With high solid content and good thermal insulation, these coatings prevent metal penetration, reduce casting defects, and deliver clean, defect-free castings.
Zircongraphite, spirit-based coatings are formulated with medium solid content and alcohol as the carrier, making them suitable for both brushing and spraying applications. The combined action of zircon and graphite offers excellent resistance to metal penetration and mouldmetal reactions, while delivering a smooth, defect-free surface finish even on heavy iron castings.
Graphite coatings are spirit-based and specially developed for both ferrous and non-ferrous castings. With excellent thermal conductivity and stable film formation, they protect moulds and cores from sand burn-on and high-temperature damage. These coatings ensure a clean surface finish, reliable performance, and defect-free castings.
A redbrown, spirit-based coating developed from selected alumino-silicates with alcohol as the carrier. It provides smooth flow and deep coverage, forming a uniform protective layer with excellent surface finish. Its mineral composition effectively resists sand expansion defects and metal penetration. On cold box cores, the coating further minimizes defects.
Magnesite-based, spirit-carried coatings are developed using high-purity magnesite and alcohol to deliver reliable performance in foundry applications. With excellent flow characteristics and smooth application, they are especially suited for basic refractory sands such as olivine. These coatings form a stable and dense barrier that effectively reduces mouldmetal reactions and prevents metal penetration, resulting in cleaner castings and improved surface finish.
