Advantages - Used as a mould release agent due to its repellent effect
- Reduces carbonaceous deposits that are formed on the equipment to the minimum
- Serves as anti-sticking agent and Lubricant for extruded items
- Eliminates the need of dusting powder on newly coiled extruded extrusions, improves their surface appearance and prevents them from sticking together
- Resistance to high temperature and tendency to rapidly spread on the surface enhances its effectiveness in the case of hot molding without being decomposed
Applications - Dilute with water
- Concentration depends up on user, on the shape of mould and on the method of application
- Best distributed by spraying
- Manual application is also possible by dipping or applying with cotton
- It is recommended to apply thin films to the surface of the mould for economical reasons and to protect undesired stains
- It is recommended to add a small amount [0.5%] of Sodium Nitrite to the diluted emulsion
