These INKS are very useful where coding is to be done on Ice Cream packing / Butter packaging / Milk pouch plastics / Ghee packets & other flexible packaging applications, which have to be stored in Deep-Freezers. Deep Freezer Coding inks are free flowing, fluid packaging inks, Transparent, Water resistant and can be used to mark on Glazed / Non glazed, Metallic / Non-Metallic Surfaces. The inks are resistant to temperature as low as -20 deg.c. Deep freezer Resistant Coding Inks DEEP FREEZER RESISTANT BATCH CODING INKSis quick-drying and is resistant to lubricants and other industrial goods packaging. The Markings on the surface are clear, sharp and indelible. Available colours are Black, Red, Violet, Brown and Blue. Other colours can also be supplied on request.
The colour fastness of these inks is excellent and stands ultraviolet exposure up to wool scale no.6 which is about four years of indoor exposure.

| Rupa Flexo Inks are the best quality printing inks for Flexo Presses of all Kinds.Flexographic printing(short form - flexo printing) is a form of printing process which utilizes a flexible relief Polymer or Rubber Blocks-plates. It is an updated method of letterpress printing which is utilized for printing process on most substrates such as Papers, Boards, metals, foils, plastics, metallic films, cellophane, and wooden substrates. It is mainly used for printing on the non-Absorbent and Non porous surfaced substrates used for various varieties of industrial and food packaging applications (it is also mostly suitable for printing and coating huge areas of solid colours). | ||
| Flexo ink manufacturers play a vital role in Flexography. A flexographic print is made by creating a positive mirrored master of the required image as a 3D relief in a rubber or polymer material. Flexographic plates can be created with analog and digital plate making processes. The image areas are raised above the non image areas on the rubber or polymer plate. The Flexo ink is transferred from the ink roll which is partially immersed in the ink tank. Then it transfers to the anilox roll (or meter roll) whose texture holds a specific amount of Flexo ink since it's covered with thousands of small wells or cups that enable it to meter ink to the printing plate in a uniform thickness evenly and quickly (the number of cells per linear inch can vary according to the type of print job and the quality required). To avoid getting a final product with a smudgy or lumpy look, it must be ensured that the amount of ink on the Flexo printing plate is not excessive. This is achieved by using a scraper, called a doctor blade. The doctor blade removes excess ink from the anilox roller before inking the Stereo block. The substrate is finally sandwiched between the Flexo stereo and the impression cylinder to transfer the image. | ||

| Modern printing technology uses direct and indirect photo emulsions which are UV sensitive. This means that the artists' renderings on transparent film can be exactly reproduced on the nylon screen coated with light sensitive (UV) emulsion. The light sensitive emulsion fills the entire screen and the transparent film upon which the artists sketch is laid upon the screen. And both are placed in the exposure unit. Where the light passes through the transparent film, the emulsion is exposed and hardens. Where the artists' markings on the film stop the light, the emulsion is NOT exposed and released upon washing, creating a stencil on the screen that exactly reproduces the artists' markings to the finest detail. |
| The screen is then placed on top of almost any substrate, paper, glass, fabric, golf balls, etc.Screen printing Inkis then placed across the top length of the screen. A squeegee (rubber blade) is used to spread the ink across the screen, over the stencil, and through the open mesh onto the paper/fabric below. The screen is lifted once the image has been transferred onto the paper/fabric, which is replaced with the next, unprinted, substrate. Colors are added layer by layer and each color requires a separate stencil on a separate screen. The screen can be re-used after cleaning. |
