A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is a type of motor controller that drives an electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the electric motor. Other names for a VFD are variable speed drive, adjustable speed drive, adjustable frequency drive, AC drive, microdrive, and inverter. Sometimes your work space is dusty, dirty, wet, humid, corrosive, or hot. In those harsh environments, you cannot just mount your VFD exposed. A motor control center (MCC) is an assembly of one or more enclosed sections having a common power bus and principally containing motor control units. Motor control centers are in modern practice a factory assembly of several motor starters. A motor control center can include variable frequency drives, programmable controllers, and metering and may also be the electrical service entrance for the building.
Motor control centers have been used by the automobile manufacturing industry which used large numbers of electric motors. Today they are used in many industrial and commercial applications. Where very dusty or corrosive processes are used, the motor control center may be installed in a separate air-conditioned room, but often an MCC will be on the factory floor adjacent to the machinery controlled.

Nylon terminals are used with suitable accessories like TERMINALS HEADERS, MARKERS STOPPER, and CT SHORTING TERMINALS etc.
Wiring bunch is laid down in PVC DUCTS and arranged to give double safety by using SPIRAL/FLEXIBLE CONDUCT. All components are marked with INTERNAL LEGENDS; legends are made out of trifoliate sheet to depict feeder designation even in rear cable chamber also. Control circuit is powered by DRAW TYPE FUSE or MCB.
Every incomer panel is provided with drawing pocket for ready reference of control schemes.

CABLE TERMINATION
Power and control wiring bunches are carried in vertical cable alley DIN CHANNEL is provided to accommodated NYLON COLOUREDE POWER TERMINAL AND CONTROL TERMINALS, represented by markers & headers. Transparent shroud are provided in incoming side to avoid accidental contact in case door is opened.
