Jib cranes are an alternative to overhead cranes, where limitation due to space and supporting structure for overhead cranes.
Thes are used for material handling.
Capacity range offered by us is
SWL max upto 5 MT
Maximum Jib arm radius upto 8 M. Here limitation is on Safe working load. In this case with 8 M Jib arm, we can offer max 3 T as SWL.
Cranes offered are as below.
Free standing column jib crane rotation from 90 deg to 360 deg.
Wall / column mounted Jib cranes, rotation limited to 180 deg.
jib crane alongside is supplied to Bharat Benz dealer in Maharashtra. Crane Specifications are:-
- SWL 2 MT
- Jib Radius from column center 7 M
- 8 M high Free standing column made as Sq box out of IS 2062 plates to cater for strength required for such heavy load.
- Max HOL (Height of lift) 6 M
- Hoist used is 'torqk' brand from house of ELECTROMECH, Pune.
- Hoist is wire rope hoist with motorized CT. All hoist motions are controlled through pendant push buttons. Control panel is with hoist. Panel is having rotary limit switch for hoisting motion & lever type limit switch for CT motion.
- Jib can rotate upto 2600. This rotation is manual driven.
- Since all bearings for King Post are antifriction ball & thrust bearings strain on operator is minimum for moving crane through 2600
