The dBadge2, dBadge2 Plus with audio recording and dBadge2 Pro with audio recording and real time octave band frequency analysis are the latest development in personal noise dosimeters. The varying models all feature Bluetooth® 4.0 low energy wireless connectivity which connect to a tablet or smartphone via the Airwave App. This means users can remotely start a measurement, stop a measurement run, monitor the battery life and instrument memory, check measurement progress and alarms, all without disturbing the worker. This minimizes chances of gathering corrupted data and maximizes the Health & Safety professional's productivity. Like the iconic dBadge personal noise dosimeter, dBadge2's concept is to capture every possible noise exposure related parameter during a measurement run, then to make it available for download and analysis. The user only has to choose the most relevant parameters to display on the screen from ISO, OSHA, MSHA and ACGIH set ups.
