Optima Splint is an orthopaedic splinting system for temporary immobilisation of fractures, sprains and strains.
It is composed of multiple layers of casting strips impregnated with a polyurethane resin which is water-activated before use. The strips are encased in a protective barrier of non woven fabric to provide cushioning for patient comfort. It sets in approximately 5 minutes.
