This is famously known as til oil or is also called as sesame oil. Just like other edible oils this oil is commonly used for cooking purposes. The cold pressed gingerly oil is used in an Ayurvedic practice known as Oil pulling whereby the toxins are pulled out of the system and helps in reduction of inflammation. Normally advised is a tablespoon of gingelly oil in the mouth for about 15 to 20 minutes and spit it out. Rinse with warm water and brush your teeth finally with baking soda.
