C-Frame type presses are available in open back inclinable (OBI) and open-back stationery (OBS) designs. These presses have ample throat and open sides, which provide easy accesses to the die form three sides and permit loading/unloading of wide or irregular-shaped workpieces. The change in the speed can be preset to take place at any point of the stroke with the help of limit switches / proximity switches / liner encoders / potentiometer. Maximum frame rigidity is achieved through computer aided frame design and finite element analysis. These presses can be custom designed to suit specific requirements of the customers.
In double - action Drawing operations the press has two slides acting from top:- the drawing slide with the draw punch & the blank holder slide with the blank holders as shown below
The Blank holding slide transfers the blank holding force via. The blank holder onto the blank & the draw die. The die & the ejector are located in the lower die on the press bed. During forming, the blank holder brings the sheet metal into contact against the die, the punch descends from above into the die & shapes the part while the sheet metal can flow without any wrinkling out of the blank holding area. In this Case, the drawing process is carried out with a fixed blank holder & moving punch. In double action drawing operations, the drawing slide can only apply a pressing force.
These double Action drawing presses are also available in both pillars type & frame design. Custom built presses with features as per requirement of customer / applications can be designed & manufactured.

Process Description
The injection moulding process combines an extruder, which heats and fluxes the rubber with the help of reservoir & mould. While the rubber mold is curing, fresh rubber is prepared for the next cycle. This semi-automatic process saves the valuable time and energy. The compound used for injection moulding are optimized. They smoothly flow through the nozzle & runner system and fill the mould under controlled pressure. The material to be injected do not cure in the process, but curing is quick once it enters the mould.
Santec's Vacuum Laminating press is ideal for molding applications where faster production & high quality is essential. The specially designed vacuum chambers of the machine pays off in the terms of higher quality and reduced scrap parts. Surrounding the workpiece with a vacuum removes heated gases and trapped air frame the part, eliminating the defects. Simply load in a drum, close the door, and press the auto cycle button.
