SDP has 40+ years of experience in the design and manufacture of electroplated grinding and honing tools. We have our own in-house design staff, precision machine shop and plating department. And, because we design complete honing / bore finishing systems, we understand how the tools must function in harmony with the machine tool and fixturing. At SDP we manufacture a complete range of honing tools, including tools for blind bores, self-adjusting tooling, seating tools and coolant-through-tool design. We even design tools that can be used on the simplest drill press or fitted on sophisticated five axis machining systems and transfer lines.
