The Melt Flow Index Test measures the rate of extrusion of a Thermoplastic material through orifice of Specific Length and Diameter under prescribed conditions of temperature and pressure.

| Melt Flow Indexer is used to measure the flow rate of different polymers. The reported Melt Index values helps to distinguish between the different Grades of Polymers. This is due to the fact that plastic materials are seldom manufactured without incorporating additives, which affect the processing characteristics of material like stability and flowability. |

The Impact properties of the of the polymeric materials are directly related to the Overall toughness of the material.
Toughness is defined as the ability of the polymer to absorb applied energy. Generally plastic films are being used for Packing purpose, which happen to undergo wear & tear. Hence strength of Impact Resistance is established to evaluate the quality and to get the impect load film can withstand. This method covers the determinates of the energy that cause, plastics film to fail under specific conditions of the impect of the free falling Dart.
This energy is expressed in terms of weight of mass feeling from specified height, which would result in 50% specimen's failure tested.

| As per plastics are affected by the temperature, Hydrostatic Pressure tests for HDPE, R-PVC, C-PVC, U-PVC, MDPE and lateral pipes test specimens are suppose to be tested either at room temperature, at higher temperature or lower temperature in water bath as per national & international standards. |

| "Saumya" baths are uniquely designed to heat faster with low energy cost and to maintain the temperature for longer time. To maintain the the temperature into the bath circulation is done by either one or two pumps as depending on the volume of bath. Temperature is controlled by microprocessor based controllers. In large size bath "Saumya" gives separate bath for heating & the hot water is circulated to the other chamber so as to save the energy cost. |
