The Multi PD Pump is designed for handling either fine or coarse fly ash from ESPs or from bag filters and can be used to convey directly to the main silos without using an intermediate hopper. There can be up to 8 pumps connected on the same pipeline with an ESP. The most efficient arrangement is for the vessels to be connected across the gas stream of the ESP so that each vessel receives approximately an even loading. No level probe is required in the ESP when using the Multi PD pump system

Getting the job done with a low level of investmentSaving energy costs is a top priority. The solution is to use alternative fuels for kilnsboilers such as classic and alternative fuels (e.g. shredded plastic and production wastes, old tires and grinding dusts, meat and bone meal and processed domestic waste). The problem with this is that these very different materials pose extremely difficult challenges regarding the design of the feeding and conveying systems. Alternative fuels are either discharged directly from tractor trailers with walking floors, or are delivered in tipping containers. The material is added to the MULTIDOS weighfeeder via the extraction screws and chain conveyor. An appropriate amount of fuel is then fed into the Blow-Through-Rotary-Valve IDMS 100, and then conveyed directly to the burner.

In action, the Schenck Process Spheri Valve Dome Valve is a pressure tight compressed air operated valve, capable of returning over one million maintenance-free cycles, even in abrasive, hazardous or toxic applications. ATEX compliant the fast-closing cut-off valve incorporates a unique inflatable sealing mechanism, this provides the pressure tight seal, against the dome surface when in the closed position.

Diverter for use on silosThe Schenck Process Scale Valve (SD) is designed for use on top of silos and can concurrentlydivert air and product. Product is diverted into a receiving hopper while air continues into the return line back to the storage bin. When the desired amount of product is delivered to the silo an electrical impulse from a level control or weigh scale triggers the SD and the valve automatically diverts the flow of product into the next receiver or back to storage.

As well as the money in your pocket, using alternative fuels conserves the worlds resources. Recycling fibres, chippings or for example plastic shreddings also makes sense in the long term if the combustion processes are optimised using appropriate modules and systems.

Airlock for sanitary processesThe Global Cleanable Airlock (GCA) is ideal for applications where dry raw or finished products are being handled in the process and where inspection or system clean-out are required. Because the GCA is designed for high process rates and possesses a number of features suited for sanitary processes the airlock is perfect for food and pet food applications. Processes requiring frequent color change-outs that are found in plastics and pigment production are another fit for the GCA. Two models of the GCA consist of a standard and a demountable unit. The standard model is a round inlet, round outlet rotary valve which incorporates seals and product contact surfaces which meet food safety requirements. The demountable unit is designed with a rail system that simplifies removal of the endplaterotor assembly from the housing providing access to the internal valve cavity, rotor pockets and all other product contact areas for quick and easy cleaning.

Dust-tight material flow valveStock Bulk Material Valves (BMV) are used to control material flow from bins, hoppers, chutes, silos, and long downspouts. The self-cleaning rack and pinion design makes this valve extremely suitable for bulk material applications where positive shut-off is required through a standing column of material. The pinions drive through the gate ladder racks providing self-cleaning operation. Any material accumulating on top of the gate rack will be crushed and passed through thus eliminating the possibility of gate binding. Stock bulk material valves are designed for material handling applications that involve harsh environments, wide temperature ranges, pressure differentials, and unusual flow characteristics. All Bulk Material Valves are dust-tight to the outside plant area. The overlap, closure of the gate and self-cleaning racks makes these valves well suited for handling fine and dusty materials. The Stock design allows for routine maintenance and inspection and permits the removal of the gate assembly while the valve remains in place. The gate operating shaft is located above the gate rack, keeping bearings, rollers, and the pinion shaft out of active material stream.
