Wafer grippers are suitable for extremely quick and reliable handling of wafers and solar cells in the production processes. The generation of a high flow rate with low air consumption enables particularly gentle handling of sensitive workpieces.
Besides the handling of composite textiles, these grippers are ideally suited to extremely thin, sensitive plastic films, thin glass and blank printed circuit boards. The integrated vacuum generation allows a high flow rate at a moderate vacuum level. The suction areas with suction openings positioned closely to one another prevent the workpieces from being sucked in and damaged.
Floating suction cups function according to the Bernoulli principle and enable low-contact handling of thin and sensitive workpieces such as plastic films, paper or solar cells. The floating suction cup generates an air cushion on which the workpiece floats. Leakages are compensated for with the help of a high flow rate in order that porous workpieces can also be handled and separated.
Needle grippers provide the option of reliable gripping of workpieces which are difficult to grip using vacuum as well as highly porous materials.
This innovative grippers from Schmalz handle composite textiles, filter materials, fleece and foam safely and reliably. Crossed needles ensure an optimal grip. It even handles single layers and complete stacks with various heights due to automatic stroke adjustment.
The electrical version SNG-AE features impressive energy efficiency, as well as automatic needle stroke setting and an IO-Link interface for maximum process control.
A feature of the thin glass gripper from Schmalz is its gentle and contamination free handling. The high suction capacity and large effective suction area make secure handling of workpieces possible even in dynamic processes. This area gripper is used, for example, for the handling of very thin display glasses in automated or partially automated processes.
This is a Special ejector with straight vacuum passage for very high volume flow rates at low vacuum values mainly for gripping of very porous materials such as foams, textiles, paper and various recycling materials Also, used for Conveyance of light solids, such as polystyrene, plastic granulates, rice or other filling materials
The magnetic grippers from Schmalz make it easier to handle perforated metal sheets, metal sheets with holes & apertures and complex laser-cut ferromagnetic workpieces. The permanent magnet is moved over compressed air. This is how the magnetic workpiece is gripped and deposited again.
