senriqa specializes in rapid casting technology, using three-dimensional printing (3dp) technology to create various sizes of complex molds and cores for a variety of industries. By selectively printing a specially-engineered binder into paper-thin layers of foundry-grade sand, the process creates mold components layer-by-layer directly from cad data, eliminating the need for a physical pattern to create a core or mold. The process is capable of achieving a geometric complexity, and scale, not possible with conventional casting methods. The process produces accurate, uniform cores and molds rapidly, significantly reducing lead times. The process rapidly produces extremely accurate, uniform cores and molds, reducing the typical lead time for metal castings by as many as 12 months. The flexibility to modify and customize mold designs is presently used to improve casting performance, reduce casting weight and add complexity to cast components.
