We are leading name engaged as Manufacturer, Exporter, Supplier and Retailer of wide range of ATTAPULGITE, BARITE, Bentonite, Clay and DRILLWELL BENTONITE etc...
Bentonite is a highly colloidal clay mineral decomposition of volcanic ash, having the ability to absorb large quantities of water and to expand to several times its normal volume, gets its name from the place where its presence and usages were first discovered Fort Benton, America. Bentonite, sometimes refer as sometimes referred to as Montmorrilonite is a naturally occurring substance, composed of a number of layers, each approximately 10 angstroms thick, and each consisting of two tetrahedral and one octahedral unit. This structure is responsible for three important characteristics, the ability to absorb large amounts of moisture, the ability to exchange ions and thixotropic gel formation. Bentonite is naturally occurring hydrated Alumina Silicate, there are two main varieties, calcium and sodium, where sodium Bentonite is the more commercially important. Calcium Bentonite deposits are much more common than sodium Bentonite deposits. However, calcium Bentonite can be changed to sodium Bentonite by the ion exchange process. The swelling type or sodium Bentonite, which has single water layer particles containing Na+ as the exchangeable ion. The other has double water layer particles with Ca++ as the exchangeable ion. It is called calcium Bentonite or non-swelling type. The clay-water characteristics are of primary importance. The chemical composition of the Bentonite is a consideration only because changes in physical properties accompany changes in chemical composition. Sodium Bentonite swells or expands to a greater degree than its calcium equivalent. Small percentage of cation exchange sites are occupied by another ion, such as calcium, a state is developed in the clay which promotes both optimum swelling and fastest hydration. Sodium Bentonite has higher swelling capacity, this property develops higher viscosity in suspensions, greater state of disaggregation, formation of smaller clay particles or greater colloidal properties.

Attapulgite, a naturally occurring clay mineral having crystalline hydrated magnesium alumina-silicate with a three dimensional chain structure , alumina silicate having a theoretical formula of Mg5 Si8O20 (OH)2 (OH2)4.4H2O. The significant substitution Mg, Al, Fe ions at octahedral position and Ca,Na,K ions interlayer cation. The montmorillonite associated with the attapulgite-bearing rocks of Digma Formation is of calcium base. It is non-swelling clay and predominantly classed as fullers earth, similar in this respect to attapulgite. World fuller’s earth, however, is generally comprising minerals such as attapulgite (palygorskite) or montmorillonite or a mixture of the two (grades from attapulgite-rich to montmorillonite-rich clays). The attapulgite-rich claystones of Digma Formation were proved to be of industrial value in term of oil wells drilling, decolorizing and absorbing characteristics (Al-Bassam, 1998). As so far mentioned, the attapulgite claystone contains other non-clay minerals (quartz, calcite, gypsum …etc), which were formed in situ or were transported into the deposit during its formation, and these may approach levels of 30 weight percent or more. This motivates the need to upgrade the attapulgite by effective method to enhance both clay performance and commercial value.
FOUNDRY is the oldest techniques developed by human and green sand casting is the most common technique, especially for ferrous castings.
PALLETWELL is a selectively mined sodium activated Bentonite, design to meet all require property for making proper ball from fines, the binding property of Bentonite makes it use full for such kind of application, The consumption of PALLETWELL is lower than its industry standard.
Barite, barites, or heavy spar, a white, yellow, blue, red, or colorless mineral. It is a sulfate of barium, BaSO4, found in nature as tabular crystals or in granular or massive form and has a high specific gravity. The mineral is widely distributed throughout the world. It often occurs in veins with lead and zinc minerals. It is insoluble in water, and this property is made use of in testing for the sulfate radical.Barite Uses Drilling Weighting material with a specific gravity of 4.37 used to increase the apparent density of a liquid drilling fluid system. Barite [BaSO4] is the most common weighting agent used today. It is a mined material ground to an API specification such that particle sizes are predominantly in the 3 to 74 micron range. Drilling Fluids A dense mineral comprising barium sulfate [BaSO4] that commonly occurs with a range of accessory minerals, such as quartz, chert, dolomite, calcite, siderite and metal sulfides. Used as a weighting agent for all types of drilling fluids, barites are mined in many areas worldwide and shipped as ore to grinding plants in strategic locations. Pure barium sulfate has a specific gravity of 4.50 g/cm3, but drilling-grade barite is expected to have a specific gravity of at least 4.20 g/cm3 to meet API specifications. Contaminants in barite, such as cement, siderite, pyrrhotite, gypsum and anhydrite, can cause problems in certain mud systems and should be evaluated in any quality assurance program for drilling-mud additives. Paint Industry In dope and painting, it can be used as filling and can take the place of some expensive material such as basofor, crypton, titanium dioxide, activity, monox etc. Control the viscosity of the paint compatibly to make the products with bright color, good stability. Plastic Industry In plastic industry, it is used as the filling of plastic ABS to make the products with bright color. It also can improve the intensity, stiffness and abrasive resistance. Pharmaceutical Industry In medicine, it can be used as barium meal material for the intestines and stomach reflection, and also the filling for plaster and dope to extend the time limit. Rubber Industry In rubber industry, the products less than 500 mesh can be used as the filling of rubber products to save cost. It can improve the intensity, and acid, alkali, and water proof, and also has benefit for the Natural Rubber and Synthetic Rubber.
