SEALz Acoustic Seal provides an excellent barrrier to airborne sound and helps ensure that the acoustic attenuation provided by a doorset (the frame and door leaf along with the seal) is, in many cases, equivalent to the wall or partition into which it is installed. It has been tested to ASTM E90 for acoustic ratig od 45dB and fire tested to BS 476 Part 20 and various International Standard.
It further reduces heat loss through a door and improve comfort leavels by elimination old draught. Additionally, it an stop ingress of airborne dust and insects.
SAPS and SAPS F series is an Perimeter Seal which could be installed round the perimeter of door frame to reduce the sound wave from passing through the meeting edge of door panel and frame.
SAAS and SAAS F series is an Astragal Seal which is a meeting stile seal install on one leaf of doouble leaf doors. It seals the gap between the two doors to prevent the sound wave from transmitting into the room.
