Laboratory Pulverizer is a disc type grinder, designed to grind virtually any material to produce a fine mesh sample in one operation. It is a self contained grinder, with a rotary disc, having a planetary movement in a vertical plane.'Grinding is done between two discs-one stationary and the other revolving eccentrically at high speed. the Disc are made from heat treated alloy steel.With the help of a convenient hand wheel, the size of the final product can be adjusted. This can be done, even while the machine is in operation. A self locking device holds the hinged grinding chamber in place and affords easy and quick access to it, for removel of ground samples and for cleaning. The pulverizer has a capacity of reducing about half of a kilogram of a quarts type sample to 72 mesh in about a minute. The pulverizer is fitted with 3hp motor, a "V" belt

The Mill Comprises of a Steet Rotor, Carrying Four Steel Hammers Hinged to it, This arrangement is housed in a steel & Cast Iron Chamber with a feed Inlet and Outlet. On the Outlet side, a Mesh fixed so that finder material of the desired size only can pass down. The Coarser Material is carried around and pounded further.
The ground material is collected in a cloth sack provided for this purpose. The Maximum fineness possible is 250 mesh, Additional screen of 72 mesh and 100 mesh are also supplied along with the instrument .
The mill has a hopper to feed the material. The feed size is 5 mm (maximum)
