2004-07 Becomes national authorized distributor for Bombas Boyser S.L. (Spain), Boerger GmbH (Germany) and Omac Pompe (Italy).
2012 Takes up the regional distributorship of Pulsafeeder, Inc.
2013 Appointed national distributor of industrial gear pumps manufactured by DESMI Pumping Technology A/S, Denmark.
2014 Taken up dealership of “Kirloskar” brand motors from Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. & Kirloskar Electric Company.
The SHANBHAGS group was started in 1964 as designers and contractors for industrial civil construction and fabrication. Throughout 1964-84, the company completed several factories, most of them from land development to commissioning of complete structures.
In 1984, we exited the construction business and began manufacturing the indigenous “ROHINI” brand AC induction motors under the name of Shanco Industries, followed by permanent magnet DC motors in 1993. With an emphasis on quality and cost effectiveness, we ensured a satisfied, technically conscious, customer base for over 30 years. However, to enable a better growth for our business in other sectors, we have since divested entirely from Shanco Industries, and it is no longer a part of our group.
From 2000 onwards, under the name Shanbhag and Associates (S&A), we began representing several international pump manufacturers as their sole distributor of pumping products in India. Since then, we have expanded our range, offering a wide variety of pumps that cater to several different industries. For many of these products, we operate through a national dealer network of sales & service engineers to provide speedy services to our customers all over India. We presently also have resident sales engineers at Vadodara, Bengaluru & Chandigarh.
In 1992, our firm Shanbhag Engineering Company (SEC) was instituted as a regional distributor for Beacon Weir’s range of industrial water pumps. We have since moved on to become a regional distributor of Kirloskar Brothers Limited for their entire range of industrial water and process pumps. We offer servicing/ overhauling of KBL pumpsets, genuine spares, and supervision of commissioning through our own service engineers at various project sites.We also offer Kirloskar Electric motors as a complementary product along with the pumps.Furthermore, we are also regional distributor for ABB India’s AC induction motors.
In 2005, SEC was appointed the authorized regional sales and service dealer for KAESER COMPRESSORS, a world leader in rotary air screw compressors and compressed air accessories. We offer complete turnkey solutions for our clients’ compressed air needs.
