Rotary Box Coating System BC500

The system has been design to deposit rare materials like Platinum (Pt), Palladium (Pd), Rhodium (Rh), Gold (Au) and Silver (Ag) to produce highly efficient, uniform thin films for even the most complex applications. Comprehensive SCADA-based vacuum and process control automation provides repeatable run-to-run operation. Process recipe selection is provided and the system can send out SMS messages in the event of needing attention. A cryo-based pumping system enables an ultimate vacuum of < 5x 10-7 mbar in the chamber.

Filament Flasher

A filament flasher is a system wherein the tungsten filament of an X-ray tube cathode assembly is resistively heated in a reducing environment to its recrystallization temperature. These filaments may take the form of helical wires or planar serpentine ribbons. The flashing process relieves any residual strain in the material and promotes grain growth, resulting in a stiffer structure this ensures that the filament will not move later in actual use, a key factor in the quality of the focal spot produced by the tube. The system consists of cubical chamber with a job loading platform and rotary VACUUM pumping system. Chamber is provided with suitable ports for evacuation, power supply, camera, Hydrogen burn off, and gas purging.
