A laminar airflow cabinet is a working station that comes with Prefilters and HEPA Filters/ULPA Filters. The Laminar Flow cabinet is also known as Tissue culture Hood which is used to save the testing sample from particle reactive materials. Laminar is a term that explains the constant flow of air in one dimension without any disturbance. Laminar Air Flow provides a microorganism & particle-free environment to carry out such special work for research purposes. Chamber of Tissue culture hood is made up of leak-proof stainless steel 304. LAF works on airflow velocity range from 0.3m/s to 0.5m/s towards the user. There are two types of Laminar Airflow available in the market one is Vertical and another one is Horizontal LAF. These two types of LAF designed almost in the same manner but HEPA filter & pre-filter placement is different. Vertical Laminar is very similar to the cleanroom which makes it popular in Hospitals Operation theaters.
