In patients with type 1 diabetes, Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml must be used with another type of insulin (like with short-acting insulin). On the other hand, in patients with type 2 diabetes, Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml can be used with another type of insulin or with oral antidiabetic medicines. The common side effects of Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml are hypokalaemia (low potassium), hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level), local injection site reactions, lipodystrophy (fat deposition under the skin), rash, and pruritus (itch skin) which may occur at the injection site. Most of these side effects of Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Try not to stop taking Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml of your own. Let your doctor know about this, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms. Do not take Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml if you have any low blood glucose levels, kidney, liver, or heart problems, or problems with alcohol or other prescription recreational drugs. Along with Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml, you should take a healthy diet, do regular exercise, and maintain weight as advised by your doctor. Type 1 diabetes mellitus, Type 2 diabetes mellitus

Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml works by ensuring rapid and consistent sugar control. Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml is a long-acting synthetic form of insulin that helps lower blood sugar levels by replacing the insulin that is produced by the body naturally. This drug also helps in moving sugar from the blood into different parts of the body so that body can effectively use the sugar in producing energy. Prevents the risk of having severe complications of diabetes. It stimulates the recovery of sugar in muscle and fat cells and thus suppresses the production of sugar in the liver. Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml is injected under the skin, usually one time a day or as suggested by the doctor. If you are not well trained to self-administer Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml, ask a healthcare professional to administer it.Tresiba 100U/ml Flextouch 3 ml should not be given with insulin pump or mixed with other insulins. Procedure for self-injecting insulin:

• You should wash your hand first before injecting insulin.
• Then roll the insulin bottle and wipe the bottle top.
• Now pull the plunger of the syringe down to an appropriate number of units your doctor has prescribed.
• Push the needle into the bottle and push the syringe plunger down.
• Now once again pull the plunger down to an appropriate number of units as prescribed by the doctor.
• Pick the injection site and wipe it with an alcohol swab. Now, pinch up the skin and push the needle into the skin and then push the plunger in.
• The needle should be kept under the skin for at least 6 seconds to make sure the entire dose is injected.
• After injecting the insulin pull out the needle and dispose of the syringe safely. And then you can have a meal or snack.

Severe hypoglycemia can lead to unconsciousness and may result in temporary or permanent impairment of brain function or even death. Victoza Prefilled Pen Injection 3 ml is administered in the form of injection under the skin. Your doctor prescribes the dosage based on your disease condition and tolerance. Your doctor may start the course with a low dose and gradually maintain an effective dose to achieve the required blood glucose control. Injection pen: Use Victoza Prefilled Pen Injection 3 ml injection solution only if it is clear, colourless, and contains no particles.
