The incorporation includes a pair of hinges connected to a floating Gimbal ring which has a very special advantages like absorbing pressure thrust, supporting the dead weight of the system, transmission of wind & shear loads through the Gimbal Structure. These joints usually in pairs will permit piping to float in relation to the terminal points.

pressure ranges up to 06 kg/cm2 (special units for higher pressures) These are the simplest form manufactured from single and multi-ply elements and fitted with either flanges or pipe ends these units are suitable for axial movements only though in certain cases will take care of small lateral offset also.

Sizes types & pressure ranges to suit specific applications
Pressure Balanced Bellows are used in piping system where pressure loads are critical, and where complex axial and lateral movements are involved with limited space. Using a pressurized bellows outside the system to counteract forces generated by bellows inside the system, large axial and lateral movements can be absorbed.

Pressure ranges up to 25 kg/cm2 & above two bellows elements are joined together by a center tube and fitted with either pipe ends or flanges. The assembly is capable of both axial and lateral movements but is limited to low pressure applications because of center tube instability.

Generally installed in multiples of two or three, there joints are designed for angular movements in one plane only. A hinged mechanism contains the pressure loads and ties back to an integral flanger or box restrained lug. Limit stop controls the degree of angular movement. These units can be fitted with either pipe ends or flanges, can be supplied with two hinged system also.
