This process is used for short run and speedy work because basic cost is very low. Printing stuff flat-bed and round can be print easily. Any stuff, any thickness but surface should be flat even it is wooden, plastic, fabric can be print. most advantage of screen printing is, ruff & tuff stuff can be print screen easily in short time and economically. In screen printing process accuracy come for a limited size as it is moreover done manually. According to required outcome in screen printing used screen (small or bigger hole mesh) quality. In this process opaque ink is applied on printing stuff through mesh (nylon cloth) made of very small hole. One time only one colour can be print. If desired to see your print embossed or raised you can get through enamelled ink quality. Overall per unit cost comes high compare to offset printing. Full colour cannot be print with high resolution quality.
Process is very simple first of all a screen (very small hole cloth stretched with wooden frame) a stencil (artwork to be print) is preparing through computer or sketch, thereafter dichromate (chemical) applied on whole screen and put it in dark area till dry out properly, keeping stencil on dry screen, exposed in ultra violet light for a specific time thereafter whole screen washed in water, area of stencil covered screen washed out properly and rest area harden (blocked screen) when opaque ink is pressed by stopper on printing stuff through screen then ink passed from only washed out screen, so finally ink print come out on printing stuff. We offer screen printing visiting card as it feels raised letter one or more than one colour, very small and slim font cannot print properly, there are so many quality screen as 80 no. screen, 120 screen, 140 screen as to enhance printing quality make sharper. These print impressions are known as spot printing.
Offset printing is the best for large quantity and economical rate and high quality printing. In this process basic cost is high and print quality sharper even smallest text, image and graphics, can be print easily. Stuff should be flexible as it is rotate in side machine from one plate to 4 plate, colour accuracy maximum, printing stuff only flat bed can be print. Any flat bed stuff from 50 gsm-400 gsm can be print easily, printing speed is very high you can get print upto 10 thousand in an hour.
In this process data (text, graphics and image) transferred on 4 separate CTP plate (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) and special color as gold, silver (pantone) ink as separate CTP plate, thereafter transferred from CTP plate onto rubber blanket, when paper pass between blanket and impression pressure roller then rubber blanket leave impression on paper and print finally comes out very high quality. This is an automotive process. All color can be print at a time. Smaller than 11x17 cannot print in this process it is used for long run process per unit cost comes very low, It is an oil and water solvable base printing but basic cost come high, this process is known as lithography technologies.
