rock wool sandwich panels are offered in different thicknesses and densities. Color coated GI (PPGI), Aluzinc, sometimes mill finish version of all these as the skin material in different colors and thicknesses. Fire rated panels come with PPGI skin mostly. Hi Rib and Low/ Micro rib sandwich panels (Hi rib panels/ Trapezoidal sandwich panels for Roof application and Low/ Micro rib panels are for walls application).

no rib (without rib) on the skin material insulated sandwich panels are ideal for cleanroom construction. it is because a cleanroom demands contamination free walls and ceiling. if ribs are there on the panels there is a chance for contamination.
if no ribs on the panels skin it is washable also.
pu (puf/ polyurethane foam), pir (poly isocyanurate), eps (expanded polystyrene), rock wool is the core insulation material.
there are few types of these panels. in continuous method of these panels manufacture any length is possible subject to transportation, these panels are known as progressive panels.
in discontinuous tongue and groove panels there is limitation for length of a panel.
there is another discontinuous panel known as no progressive panel in which the joining system in not tongue and groove but different system with aluminum sections.
