Copper Rods & Profile are alloys of metals with copper as their major component. Our range of Copper Rods & Profile is available in various shapes like round, square and hex. These alloys are offered at reasonable prices and are known for their high conductivity, corrosion resistant and fine finish. To give our clients good value for their hard-earned money, we also specialize in customization of other extruded profiles ranging from 2.5 mm to 80 mm. Our range of alloys exhibit excellent mechanical & magnetic properties and high thermal & electrical conductivity. Available for rods, flats, profiles & section.
Specifics:
Excellent hot and cold workability; good forge ability. Fabricated by bending, coining, coppersmith, drawing and upsetting, hot forging and pressing, knurling, roll threading, shearing, spinning, swaging, and stamping. Good to excellent. Susceptible to galvanic corrosion when coupled with iron, aluminum, magnesium, leads, tin, and zinc. Good resistance to atmospheric, brackish water, sea water, and non-oxidizing acid corrosion, but avoid heating in oxidizing atmospheres or exposing to oxidizing acids, moist halogens, sulfides, ammonia, or solutions with ammonium ions.
