A special kind of plywood made from sound absorbing material. This sound absorbing material is inserted in-between two layers of veneers. When sound passes through acoustic plywood, the intensity of sound is decreased. This product is capable of reducing sound upto 80 decibel. It is best suited for libraries, auditoriums, concert halls, museums and conference halls etc.
Magnus Compreg plywood for Indian Railways is used for making seats and berths of railway coaches. This product conforms to Railway Specifications as per RDSO-IS-C-9407. The veneers are pressed under high capacity hydraulic press under high temperature. Special additional treatment is also given to make product fire retardant according to IS:5509 and IS:15061 standards. The mandatory tests specified by railways are done in our fully equipped laboratories by the trained professionals from railway.Applications Seats & berths of railway coaches
Magnus Compreg Electrical Grade is an engineered product, manufactured with selected hardwood veneers impregnated with thermosetting resin under high pressure and controlled manufacturing process. It is used for higher electrical insulation purposes.

Magnus aluminium composite bus flooring consists of treated hardwood and five bar 1.5mm thickness aluminium sheet pressed in 3500 tonne capacity hot press by hot cold process. It is a composition of high densified product, unsaturated polyester resin and high degree polymer phenolic resin.
Application:Buses deck, heavy automobile floor, paneling, seats, back rest of seats. It can be used for sound proofing, reduction in temperature & vibrations.

Due to metal enforcement, this densified ply does not bend. It has high load bearing capacity. During the manufacturing of metal enforced ply, sheets of metal wires are assembled in between the layers and it is bonded with PF resin in high pressure hydraulic press. Magnus Plywood for Prefabricated Construction is a weather resistant, fire retardant and high mechanical strength product. At the heart is a single core hardwood veneer, which is internally bonded with BWP grade E1 (emission level) standard adhesive. Free from formaldehyde emission, the product is safe for human health. Processing with jet type hot air dryers results in uniform moisture equalization. Magnus Compreg for Chemical industry is manufactured with hare wood veneers impregnated with phenol resin under high pressure and temperature. Specific chemical treatment is given to the veneers in the vacuum impregnated chamber to build resistance against hazards by acid and chemicals. Surface of products is also treated with chemicals for durability. Swelling and shrinkage are very low for dimensional stability.Applications Laboratory shelves, flooring in textile industry and chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, zinc plants, fertilizer plants etc.
Magnus marine plywood is specially treated plywood that is designed to resist rotting in a high-moisture environment. It is manufactured with utmost care in the supervision of technical experts with well selected pieces of core and face veneers.
