The Siskin Ultrachill machines are built with a flexible evaporator to achieve -85C in an insulated and evacuated vessel of 2.5 to 3.0 liters. It helps a researcher perform ultra low temperature reactions OR in some cases, aids as a cold trap. The adaptive PID control and superior class Pt-100 RTD sensor guarantee excellent temperature accuracies defined for a reaction.

These machines can also be manufactured with a rigid probe (instead of the standard flexible probe see RFC-90 RP for more details) and are generally used with a magnetic stirrer for better temperature uniformity.
