If you will have a non-centric load, you will need to consider the Side/End Load which is the amount of static load that can be applied on an edge of the lift platform in the fully raised position. This is the impact of rolling a load onto the scissor lift platform through the momentum and impact of wheels which adds force and weight.

Platform Size and Shape
Determing the platform size is also an important factor when choosing the right lift for the specific application.
