With the primary objective of supporting the nation's search for alternative sources of energy and conservation of natural resources, Premium Fuels was founded in 1975. Benefits from the coal business has contributed to the BMA Group's inclination towards diversifying into the manufacture of hard coke. It is the first coke manufacturing plant in the Private sector, in West Bangal. Since then it assumed mammoth proportions and increases its capacity by 400%. Over the years it has established reputation for pioneering quality and has been able to produce coke with an ash content of less than 12.0 % for maximum efficiency in steel plants.
