We offer a complete product range of Tata Ace Gold Egr Pipe, Tata Super Ace Egr Pipe, Dost Leyland Egr Pipe, EGR Pipe and Mahindra Jeeto Egr Pipe
The EGR Pipe (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Pipe) used in the Tata Ace Super is an important emission-control component. It carries exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold back to the EGR valve / intake manifold to reduce emissions.
FunctionRecirculates exhaust gas into the intake system
Reduces NOx emissions
Lowers combustion temperature
Helps meet BS4 / BS6 emission norms (depending on model year)
Tata Ace Super Diesel
Engine types:
BS4 Ace Super
BS6 Ace Super (layout slightly different due to emission system)
EGR pipe design differs between BS4 and BS6, so model year confirmation is important.
Design & ConstructionMaterial:
Heat-resistant steel / stainless steel
Design:
Rigid metal pipe with factory bends
Some variants include a flexible (corrugated) section to:
Absorb engine vibration
Prevent cracking due to heat expansion
Ends:
Flanged mounting ends
Bolts directly with metal/composite gaskets
One end Exhaust manifold
Other end EGR valve or intake manifold
Fully bolt-on fitment

The EGR pipe in the Ashok Leyland Dost connects the exhaust manifold to the EGR valve/intake system. Its function is to carry a controlled amount of exhaust gas back into the engines intake so that:
Combustion temperature drops
NOx emissions (nitrogen oxides) are reduced
The vehicle meets emission norms (BS-IV or BS-VI depending on model)
In simple terms: its a heat-resistant metal pipe that forms part of the vehicles emissions control system.
Typical Design & Construction Material: Usually stainless steel or heat-resistant alloy to withstand hot exhaust gases and corrosion.
Flexible section (bellows): Many EGR pipes have a flex or bellows section to absorb engine vibration and thermal expansion.
Flanges at both ends: For secure bolting to the exhaust manifold and EGR valve/intake connection.
Size & Shape: Engine-specific includes bends so it fits around engine components without interfering with other parts.
This design ensures durability under high heat and helps maintain a leak-free channel for recirculating exhaust gas.
Function in the Dost LCVIn the Ashok Leyland Dost diesel engine:
Hot exhaust gas exits the cylinder via the exhaust manifold.
The EGR pipe carries a portion of that gas to the EGR valve and mixing chamber.
The gas is recirculated into the intake, lowering peak combustion temperatures.
Lowered combustion temperatures mean less NOx (pollutant) formation a key part of emission control.
This system helps the Dost meet emission requirements while maintaining performance and fuel economy.

The EGR Pipe is a metal pipe that carries a controlled portion of exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold to the EGR valve or intake manifold.
Its purpose is to reduce combustion temperature and NOx emissions in diesel and petrol engines.
Recirculates exhaust gas back into the engine
Lowers combustion temperature
Reduces NOx (Nitrogen Oxide) emissions
Helps the engine comply with emission norms (BS4 / BS6 / Euro standards)
Made from stainless steel or alloy steel
Designed to withstand high temperature and pressure
Some pipes have flexible sections to absorb vibration
Heat shield may be provided (especially in BS6 vehicles)
