The existing standard "Cable glands for electrical installations" DIN EN 50262 will be replaced with the new standard DIN EN 62444 on 23.09.2016.
Amongst others more restrictive test criteria within the range of resistance to impact, electricity tests, resistance to corrosion and strain relief will be implemeted.
Already today Geissel meets the requirements of the new standard DIN EN 62444 for all significant cable glands out of our wege program.
