Being able to lift vehicles up allows them to be stacked vertically. Making use of vertical space allows vehicles to be parked in the most efficient manner possible. The platform is moved by a hydraulic lifting system. Before lowering the platform just remove the lower vehicle. This system enables two cars to be stacked one above the other.
