Kaolin is white clay which has fine particles andpure coloring. its dispersable properties make it ideal for pigments.Kaolin is mainly Kaolinite which is made my decomposition of feldspar. The white color is due to scattering of light by finer particles.

Kaolin's color vary from White to cream, sometimes red, blue or brown tints from impurities and pale-yellow
Kaolin has a Melting point of 740-1785 C.
It is insoluble in water.
