Indication : Misoprostol is indicated for the prevention of NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including aspirin)-included gastric ulcers in patients at high risk of complications from gastric ulcer. Misoprostol should be taken for the duration of NSAID therapy. Misoprostol can be given for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Misoprostol is used as an adjunct to Mifepristone for medical termination of an intrauterine pregnancy.
