Drill Pipe Spiral Fluted Protectors are manufactured by using high quality elastomer, bonded with specially designed spring steel cage. Spring steel cage provides gripping power to the protectors while retaining its shape also. Different grades of elastomer are being used to make protectors resistance to high bottom hole temperatures, chemicals attacks from oil based drilling fluids and minimum oil absorption characteristics. They are designed for full surface contact on the drill pipes not allowing any oil fluid to enter behind the protector, causing it is not to slide and come lose on the pipe even in deviated holes. They are available for different sizes of drill pipes with stainless steel locking pings.
