Cable cleats are designed to fix, retain, and support cables in various applications. They play a crucial role in situations where short-circuit faults may occur. By containing cables during a fault, cable cleats facilitate the restoration of the circuit once the fault is repaired. When adjacent cables carrying three phase current experience a short-circuit fault, the induced magnetic fields create significant opposing forces on the cables. To ensure a safe installation, cable cleats must be well designed and thoroughly tested.
