Overview: Cooker, the main machine of the fishmeal plant, is designed as a cylinder having a steam heated jacket throughout and a steam heated rotor, designed as a screw conveyor with hollow flights. The rotor is connected to a spherical ball bearing, and its speed is adjusted by a variable speed drive. Two seal rotary joints are sitting at both ends of the rotor for steam in and condensed water out.
