As per National Building Code 2005 Clause 4.11, A Fire Staircase is mandatory for any type of building which is greater than 15 m. This staircase has to be constructed in fire rated material with a fire rating of min. 120 mins. However in some cases where a fabricated structural staircase is constructed, it has to be protected with a fire rated enclosure. Promat's Promina 60 boards provide a fire rated compartment to this staircase and provides a smoke free staircase. We are the first company to install such staircases in Pune.
