The Breathing Air Box is designed for use in high contamination areas. This system allows an SCBA user to save their Bottle pressure for the job that they need to perform, after entering a hazardous area.
Simply plug into the Breathing Air Box using your Buddy Breather, and turn off your SCBA cylinder.
The Breathing Air Box provides up to 5 hours of breathing air for a single person using demand valve operated breathing apparatus. This would allow an individual to travel 2 hours into a contaminated area and perform their mission for an hour using their SCBA, and return to their starting point 2 hours away.
The Breathing Air Box is designed to allow for up to 4 users at one time. SCBA Bottles that are utilized inside the Breathing Air Box do not have to be removed for filling. Simply connect your
filling line to the refill port and you will not have to remove the cylinders until they are ready for hydro testing.
