Quartzite is the result of metamorphosed sandstone but it is much harder than the sandstone rock. They are mainly available in white, grey and red color. Used commonly in the building materials due the availability in the variety of callers. Quartzite is seen in the construction of roofing, wall cladding, interior and exterior applications. Quartzites are available in various finishes like Natural, Calliberated, Sawcut, Tumbled, Sand Blasted, Polished and Brushed except the Shimla White Quartzite which can neither be polished or tumbled.
