Closed Single Loop Washer Stn Series
This Open-Width Washing Compartment consists of a Stainless Steel Trough with low liquor contents. Partition can be provided to obtain effective Counter Current flow of Water and Fabrics. The washed fabric comes in contact with fresh water which improves washing efficiency. There is high liquor turbulence with quick liquor exchange resulting in effective removal of dissolved Chemicals and Impurities. |
Top Rollers are fixed in bearings. Bottom rollers are fixed in bearings mounted outside the tank with mechanical seals or fixed in self lubricated bushes. All compartments are equipped with direct or indirect heating arrangement as required. |
The washing compartments are equipped with medium pressure squeeze nips for intermediate compartment and heavy squeeze nip for high extraction at the delivery end. Rubber Rollers are made from special rubber compounds suitable to resist the chemicals or dyes used as required by process. |

STN-CP is a wash tank where the fabrics passes two adjacent strands in opposite directions and gets squeezed just before leaving the last roller of the set. This movement of fabric in opposite directions creates high turbulence which, with the dip Squeeze arrangement, results in better washing results. Top Squeeze Rollers are covered with rubber to withstand temperature up to 95C - 98C. Top rollers are fixed in bearings and provided with Torque motors on individual or alternative rollers. | ||||||||
Though fabric singeing is a well established and long known process, it's relevance today to the modern finisher is greater than ever before. The constant demand for better quality fabrics, particularly blended fabrics with their susceptibility to pilling, has focused more attention on the singeing machines. SWASTIK's singeing machines, running in the industry for well over 35 years, are suited to process all types of fabrics from lightweight voiles through to heavyweight denims woven from a wide variety of fibers including cotton, polyester, viscose, wool, linen and blends of these as well as other fibers.
Brushing and Cleaning Device
SWASTIK Singeing machines are equipped with adjustable-contact cleaning device, with AC Motor directly connected to the brush rollers. A swivelling arrangement permits minimum to maximum contact with brush roller for different kinds of fabrics. An efficient dust collection system is provided just below the brush rollers, which is connected to a powerful suction unit. A large dust collector can be provided with a suitable duct. This normally makes it almost impossible to ensure uniform singeing nor does it help appreciably in case of dyeing character, strength etc. of delicate and / or SWASTIK's specially designed gas burner has been built based on long experience and careful study aimed at overcoming such troubles and to ensure the best singeing results for a wide range of fabrics such The burner of the Singeing Machine is a Slit type Burner with a Carbon Steel body. Burner body is specially designed to provide gas flow at uniform Pressure / Velocity throughout the width. Gas outlet section of the Burner is further provided with a water jacket to keep the burner cool. The top has specially designed refractory making up the burner chamber to provide uniform gas outlet velocity and thereby uniform flame height throughout the width. Being of a single continuous slit type, the width. Being of a single continuous slit type, the Burner provides a continuous, sharp flame.

The SWASTIK COMPRESSIVE SHRINKING RANGE SF-Super-Shrink is designed to achieve Shrinking results in accordance with international standards for the dimensional stability of fabrics, for widths upto 3600 mm. Fabric is shrunk between the Rubber Belt and the hot mirror-polished drum by adjusting the belt stretch by acting on the pressure roller. Once the Belt leaves the pressure roller, it contracts the fabric between the rubber belt and the mirror finish heated drum and is shrunk. Shrinkage variation is obtained by varying the pressure applied to the rubber belt. To permit the required contraction, the fabric should be properly guided over the belt. Greater the Pressure - higher the shrinkage. Good and even Damping is a pre-requisite for achieving required shrinking results.
Fabric Feeding | ||||||||||
with Tension bars and or a swiveling tension device with or without positive draw nip; cloth guiders; necessary guide rollers; a measuring / metering roller and a compensator. The machine can be equipped with a pneumatically operated, positively driven Unwinding Device with AC Inverter Drive, with stainless steel Scray for continuous operations. Damping | ||||||||||
DAMPING : A perforated stainless steel drum of diameter 568 mm filled with steam and covered with a special felt cloth, is used to damp fabrics before the rubber belt unit. Optionally, a rotor damping unit can be installed in addition to the damping unit. The unit can be shifted backwards on rails for belt grinding work, when required. To ensure required shrinkage, a device consisting of a free roll and a scroll roll is provided to feed the fabric to the Rubber belt unit at the required position.

Equipped with INFRA-RED PRE-DRYER with moisture indicating controller at the end of Pre Dryer Hot flue or Suspension type Dryer, a Developing Ranges with Steaming Device and suitable washer. Working width 1200 2800 mm with necessary automatic control instruments. Dyeing and Developing Ranges can be operated independently or in synchronization, and equipped with AC Frequency Control Drive and Tension controls cells wherever required. |

The PE-16/ PE-32 high-efficiency Package Hydro Extractors are centrifugal extractors suitable for removal of excess water from all types of yarn packages. Yarn can be synthetic, artificial and natural yarns wound on plastic cones / tubes or stainless steel springs.
The Hydro Extractor uses high-speed basket rotation technology, which results in better extraction and hence consumes less energy while drying. The special shock absorbers and suspension mechanism ensures noise-less and vibration-free operation. Both the Outer Drum and the Inner Basket are in Stainless Steel construction to ensure a longer life. |
The Package Extractor PE 32 has dual and automatic interchangeable yarn carriers for packages which enables a continuous production. The machine has two baskets and four carriers. Two carriers are inside the basket while the other two are being unloaded / loaded. At the end of each hydro extraction cycle the carousel automatically goes up and rotates so that the carriers which were inside the baskets come out and the freshly loaded carriers go in to the basket. This system ensures high productivity due to continuous operation. The model PE 16 has one set of baskets and two carriers and is suited for lower production capacities. |
The basket holds the packages which are placed on spindles. The number and size of spindles are custom designed to suit customer needs. These features along with the possibility of selecting the rotation speed ensure gentle treatment of the yarn and avoids deformation of packages and breakages of the package holding tubes. |
The Package Extractor is equipped with a PLC for program selection and operation at optimal production speed by setting the cycle time and rotation speed based on the type of yarn and other features. All mechanical clutch and manual braking systems have been eliminated which reduces maintenance downtime and costs. |
The high rotation speeds (up to 1500 RPM) ensures very low and uniformly distributed residual moisture content in the yarn packages after extraction without deforming them. This reduces the overall drying cost and improves quality of the final product. |
Each package is loaded on to separate holders to prevent yarn damage to both the package as well as the tubes. |

Knit and Terry Towel fabrics which are processed in Rope Form must be opened to full width for further processing. The SWASTIK Rope De-twister RDT is efficient in undertaking this process with minimal tension. The machine consists of a turntable, a rope de-twister, a drop stitch sensing slitting unit with draw rollers and a plaiting unit. The equipment is mounted on its own structure for smooth operation. The Twist Detector consists of 2 sensor rollers and one proximity sensor. The turntable arrangement with its drive offers smooth and fast working.
The SWASTIK Tube Dyeing Machine is manufactured from chemical resistant stainless steel and is equipped with a special low pressure pump with a variable output. The machine is of very strong and sturdy construction and is equipped with suitable pneumatically controlled valves, all in stainless steel. The Tube Dyeing machine Model TD is suitable for treating all kinds of delicate yarn such as Pure Silk, Rayon, Mercerised and Superfine Cotton yarn etc. The tubes are positively driven in either direction for pre- determined rotations, liquor circulation is stopped when the yarn is rotated. Direct and Indirect Steam heating is provided with temperature controller. The well-balanced hood is fitted with a large sliding glass. The SWASTIK Tube Dyeing Machine can be made fully automatic with PLCs / Micro-Processors, if required.
