A normal distribution transformer generally Steps-Down the voltage from H.T. to L.T., however it cannot take care of the fluctuating voltage and most of the times and at most of the sites, it has been realized that, the problem of fluctuating voltage remains, resulting in improper function of electrical systems. H.T. Transformer with Built In H.T. Automatic Voltage Stabilizer provides total solutions for voltage fluctuation and stabilization. The unit is basically a combination of H.T. Automatic Voltage Stabilizer and standard H.T. Distribution Transformer working in conjunction. These are available up to 5000 KVA in 11 KV & 33 KV Class.
Standard transformers can correct limited voltage variations and cannot regulate the voltage in ‘on load’ condition. The only smart way to tackle this problem is by installing highly efficient T power Transformer and switchgear pvt ltd with Built In H.T. Automatic Voltage Stabilizer. These systems can be used in various industrial and commercial applications.
Working
The fluctuating voltage from electricity authority input is initially stabilized by the Built-In H.T. Automatic Voltage Stabilizer and then fed to the Transformer, providing constantL.T. Output within ± 1% accuracy.
Advantages
In view of the requirement of Indian Industry, we have introduced T Power Cast Resin (Dry Type) Transformers. This introduction supplements our existing product viz. Vacuum Resin Impregnated Dry Type Transformers. Dry Type Transformers of both the above varieties are in use.
The Company Cast Resin Dry type Transformers up to 12.5 MVA, 33 KV Class (In Technical collaboration with a leading GERMAN Company).
Cast-resin power transformers encase the windings in epoxy resin. These transformers simplify installation since they are dry, without cooling oil, and so require no fire-proof vault for indoor installations. The epoxy protects the windings from dust and corrosive atmospheres. However, because the molds for casting the coils are only available in fixed sizes, the design of the transformers is less flexible, which may make them more costly if customized features (voltage, turns ratio, taps) are required.

A dry type transformer has an iron core, vacuum pressure resin impregnated high voltage windings and low voltage windings. The Low voltage winding is constructed with conductors. Depend nomex insulating material includes and apparatus to secure the windings in place during a vaccum and pressure resin impregnation process. The result is a coil that exhibits high short circuit protection due to the tightly bond conductors comparable to completely resin encased molded transformers at a substantially reduced cost.
