Pantotaj-dsr is a combination of pantoprazole and domperidone. Pantoprazole inhibits the h + /k + at pase enzyme, which is responsible for gastric acid secretion in the parietal cells of the stomach and irreversibly block the final step of acid secretion. It increases motility of gi tract by inhibiting the action of dopamine and fastens gastric emptying. Uses. Pantoprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. This medication relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. Enteric coated pantoprazole sodium domperidone sr capsules are used to reduce the amount of acid (which is produced by the stomach) also to treat or prevent conditions like; gastritis, ulcers and heartburn.
